Our event on 9 May is one not to miss if you are a landlord...!

On the night, experienced landlords from within the Surrey Property Exchange will give examples of good practice and bad practice when sourcing tenants and doing due diligence on them. They will explain what they have learned over the years and how to reduce the risk of things going wrong.

Our main speaker will be Pete Blackmore, who is the head of the SCS Law team, which specialises in providing a high quality services to landlords throughout England and Wales. Pete has many years of experience in civil litigation and debt recovery work. He will cover the procedural requirements and frequently asked questions about the possession process, and explain potential pitfalls in bringing a claim for property repossession. The new rental legislation for Wales will also be covered in the presentation by Pete.

We will also have a mortgage update from Steve Light.
