  • Landlord Law Legal Cases – Pease v. Carter with Alice Richardson

Learn and do good by donating to charity!

This is the first in a new series of webinars featuring important legal cases for landlords.  The featured case here is Pease v. Carter which was about a defective section 8 and whether the landlord could still rely on it.

The webinar will feature barrister Alice Richardson who was represented the landlord in the case. She will be discussing:

    • The background to the case and section 8 notices
    • The issues covered by the case and why it went to the Court of Appeal
    • About the hearing and the arguments used, and
    • The wider implications of this case for notices - in particular other possession notices

Note that although there is a fee - all proceeds for the live webinar will be donated to Women's Aid.
